About IFSC Code
The Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) facilitates electronic payments such as RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, and CFMS. It consists of 11 alphanumeric characters — the first four identify the bank, the fifth is '0' reserved for future use, and the last six represent the branch.
